When I was 17 I moved to Atlanta for college and the first day my roommate and I walk to a restaurant on the corner…

We ate tacos and I’m like we in the Peach state and they got peach cobbler & ice cream so umma get some. 🤷🏽‍♂️

When the waitress brought it to the table she sat it sideways with one spoon 🥄 pointing toward him and the other 🥄 toward me like we about to share it.

Me: “😑”
Him: “😑”
At same time we say: “We ain’t no couple 🤨”
She replied: “This ATL baby you never know 😌”
I said: “Well now you know ma’am 😉”
She replied in a 🧔🏾‍♂️man’s voice: “🗣️Like I said 😒 it’s ATL bruh you Never. Really. Know!”
Us: “😳”

I requested an Uber and it found a driver who look like he was fresh outta jail, tattoos on his neck, and face, hair not cut and photo look like a mugshot 😳 — plus he had 0 reviews and only started 8 days ago.

So I cancelled it and requested another 😅

The next was an older black lady with 100’s of 5 star reviews and look like she was a librarian in her spare time 😌 — perfect 👌🏾

I get the buzz that my ride was arriving she pulled up glanced 😒😒😒 over at me and kept rolling 🚗🚗🚗.

Me confused: “ 🤔 “

30 secs later the Uber app buzzed🫨 again.

She sent me a message:

“Why you cancel on my Grandson he just tryna get back on his feet😥? I hope your azz late for an appt🤗.”

And I was 🤦🏽‍♂️

That’s 2 of 30. The other 28 get wilder.
